The stunning sea view from the balcony made my mornings good, and the attentive breakfast service enhanced my experience significantly. It felt like a relaxing getaway.

Very nice hotel and great location, courteous staff.
I have no complaints about the hotel except for the prices which are quite high even for the services you are getting. For the room rates there should be free WiFi throughout the hotel grounds for guests.

This hotel suits me perfectly! I enjoy the relaxing poolside, attentive staff, and the amazing in-room breakfast. They even helped with a local food delivery number on my first stay. Highly recommend!

The executive sea room view has a very comfortable king size bed and a great view. the breakfast was varied, plentyful and fresh. The swimming pools (indoor and outdooor) are very nice with great area to relax. Very good location almost on the beach, not far from the new port (North Tel Aviv) although personally I prefer to be in the city or in Newe Tzedek for a more Tel Avivian feel.
Lack of atmosphere. Staff exhausted.

It's a lovely hotel in a perfect location, with the most incredible breakfasts, lovely pool and poolside and overall the staff are charming and extremely helpful. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe bedroom on arrival which was brilliant.it was a fabulous room and bathroom aside from the points below.
I feel they have issues with Housekeeping. Face cloths were in our room on arrival but each day after that, I had to request them even though on the second day I'd asked that we had clean face cloths in the room every day. The final straw was on our second to last day when upon request, they brought up face cloths. However, when we returned that evening they were gone! Absolutely maddening. There were grease marks on the dark brown painted walls near one of the beds -- and they were there the whole time we were. I believe the hotel was renovated a couple of years ago and looks stunning but the electric switchplates in the bedroom, although v. cool-looking simply aren't user friendly, v. annoying if you wake up in the night and want to turn on a small light -- hard to do. What you get is a light show.

We loved our stay here, especially enjoying the spacious executive triple room and the amazing breakfast each morning. The indoor and outdoor pools offered great ways to unwind after a day out, though it was a bit of a hassle to find parking since it wasn’t included. Overall, a fantastic place to relax and make memories, just don’t forget to arrange your parking in advance! 🌊

The hotel is very old and it is reflected in the room furniture and common areas. Sadly, it smelled like cigarettes and the walls were thin.

hallways and elevators not very clean......run down. Pool & gym old, run down equipment, not clean. No doorman, just security. Very overpriced.

The units are spotless and airy for a tea kettle. It has excellent central location on the beach we like.

The front desk staff, friendly, professional and efficient
Housekeeping not 5 stars, internet package outrageously expensive ($17 per day, per device, which means if you want to connect a laptop and an ipad or smartphone you end up paying $34 a day!)

The hotel has an very nice seafront location, perfect for enjoying relaxing beach days. Our family appreciated the spacious Beautiful Triple Room with City View with lovely bedding and a nice view. Breakfast was fantastic, and the easy beach access.
My kids wished there were more activities or a kids' club for entertainment.

Excellent location. Excellent breakfast.
Rooms were not just dirty but filthy. Ratings should be dropped. No toilet paper for two days. Left one morning at 4 am got home room had not been cleaned. Dirty coffee cups still on counter. Bed linens are old and king size bed is actually old twins put together that separate when you roll. The mattresses were old, hard as a rock. The pillows were impossible to sleep on. I would have expected feather pillows not hard foam rubber cheap pillows that hurt your neck. The bed linens were old, rough, threadbare. Couch was stained I would not set on it. Disgusting stains. The carpet was badly stained. The bedspreads were old and smelly. I’m not sure they even put fresh linens each day on bed. Not a five star hotel. Room. Shown on ad looks nothing like room furnishings. The carpet in the hallways were threadbare and stained. The grandeur has long gone. They will reply they are always updating but beware this is not the case. We paid full price for a luxury anniversary trip and were so disappointed in our room ocean view, because both my husband and I felt it was extremely dirty feeling we could not relax. We left and went to the king David in Jerusalem in 3 days when we were suppose to stay 6 days in Tel Aviv. We later came back to Tel Aviv and stayed at the royal beach hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was gracious at the Dan and the food was excellent. However this is not a luxury Hotel any longer. In USA it would rank 2.5 stars for cleanliness and decor. I’m sorry to report this but I must give other travelers an accurate review. We were so looking forward to our stay at the Dan. Even the wood around the heating element in the sauna was broken and could easily be a hazard. Walking to the pool area and sauna takes you through very dark, musty hallways. The rooms that are not updated should be closed. The bathrooms are very old in decor and the toilet in not in a separate room. If one wants to use toilet there is no privacy. We could never understand why our toilet paper wasn’t replaced. My robe got wet so I placed it with wet towels to be replaced, I never received another dry robe. The cookies upon arrival were a nice treat. But having non stained carpet and a non stained couch that was comfortable to sit on would have been a preferred item. We would love to stay there again if and when they update the rooms. They should only use updated rooms if they are advertising 5 star rating. Of course you have to realize who is giving them the ratings. It is not like in USA the ratings are not the same so one can be fooled by the rating system. The air-conditioning worked very well. I will leave a review on Booked.net hoping that this review does not get deleted.
